Love Untitled

Author: luna

Filed in: love, rhyme, feelings, ode

Oh beautiful Venus, come hear my song!
My muse, Yea, hallowed goddess, belong,
Amidst my lyrical passion filled quest;
Resolving love's difficulty, may I be blessed.

Lovers in history search for an explanation,
For their sweetened transcendent exhilaration,
Of emotional release in a sun-streaked moment,
Through which powers of undying commitment;
Bring an average person to star-drenched words
Of love and passion in flight: heavenward.

Love, once separate in its power to overcome the heart,
Onto the brain dewy stained rainbows impart;
Only marks upon a person's forever changed life.
Once St. Valentine gifted husband with wife;
He blessed the beauty of love and the sensation
Of unending desire and lust -- oh sweet liberation!

Emotions enraptured my heart, dear muse,
It beckons my pen to sort out the pale hues
Of my love, my desire and my passionate gaze.
My entire body fueling my lust setting me ablaze!
May the one I am bound to love a day and forever,
Savor and be enraptured in my heart's endeavor.

I am but a lowly poet, speaking her piece with pen
Please issue my declaration once and again:
Love has smitten this girl with pleasure's peace
Swirling power of desire is set to increase.
Let the eternal voice of a poet herald this line,
Love is the shared emotion of you and I combined!

Once feelings expressed, love does not wither,
It grows into something more, stronger, better.
Gifted out of need, pleasure and trust,
Explosion of sensations; wanton lust.
Feel the heart, the mind and tears swell,
Power of love, dear Venus knew it well.
