If you have been reading my posts up to now you know what I’m going to say. BDSM is not abuse. The participants in BDSM are loving, caring, aware, consensual partners that know the risks of what they do and the pleasure they can receive from doing them.

There are those in the lifestyle that ‘go bad’. The take it to the extreme and it becomes abuse. This is not accepted here, nor in mainstream society and when abuse is discovered they are shuned and usually put on a blacklist. Sadly, criminals do use BDSM as an excuse for their crimes on occasion. It is not the truth. It just helps smear the community’s image and something that the NCSF is fighting to uphold and protect.
